Bessborough Cricket Club - Where Are They Now

Toby Coleman
Toby is a former first eleven all-rounder for the Borough who also had a 2-year spell in the early noughties as club captain. A dashing and elegant right handed middle order batsman, Toby was a graduate of our star studied colts academy and he developed into a top bat for the first eleven. He scored 4 senior hundreds for the club with a career best 120 against Knebworth Park in 1999. He also was also a left arm seamer who bowled a hard ball.

He is currently living in
Melbourne,working in Asset Management, and has played for Melbourne Cricket Club (the other MCC) forthe past couple of seasons for their Club XI. They are a strong club and Andrew McDonald and Brad Hodge have been amongst his team-mates. Toby even managed to get a game for the MCC at the Sydney Cricket Ground in 2011.









Dean Wilson

Deano joined out colts section from Kenton in the mid 1990s and quickly became a star batsman for our junior and senior sections. Deano was a powerful opening batsman who was strong off both front and back foot. He scored two hundreds forour first team, both against Old Albanians in 2001 and 2002.

He ended up leaving about 7 or 8 seasons ago and moving onto Stanmore where lots of friends ended up playing.

Deano is still involved heavily in cricket as he is the chief cricket correspondent forthe Daily Mirror. He travels all over the world following and working on England tours. He has also worked for Sky Sports and is regulary interviewed by Sky Sports News, Talksport and BBC radio.
