    2013 was a breakthrough season for up and coming teenage batsman Talha Junaid. After showing glimpses of his talent in the previous season, he cemented his place in our Saturday First Eleven and was named the club's Newcomer of the Year.

    A big hitting middle order batsman, Talha strikes one of the cleanest and furthest cricket balls at the club currently. He normally bats in the late middle order and his job whether we are setting or chasing targets is to score quick runs. He scored a career best 90 at North London for our second eleven in August 2014, leading them to victory in their quest for promotion.

    Talha is also a more than useful medium pace bowler who operates normally as third or fourth change and bowls with the wicket-keeper standing up.
