A proud symbol of Harrow since its founding in 1908, Bessborough Cricket Club has been at the heart of the community for over a century. Nestled in beautiful surroundings at the historic Headstone Manor House in North West London (HA2 6PX), the club boasts two cricket pitches, outdoor practice nets, and a fully equipped clubhouse with a bar. It welcomes people of all ages and backgrounds to get involved in the game of cricket.
The club offers opportunities for children, adults, and seniors alike to enjoy cricket—whether socially or competitively. Through structured programmes and strong supervision, it aims to inspire young people and bring the joy of sport closer to families in the local community.
As part of an ambitious initiative, the club is actively promoting cricket among young people aged 5 to18, with the goal of nurturing the next generation and sustaining a thriving community club for another hundred years.
Bessborough Cricket Club is proudly accredited with ECB Clubmark by the England and Wales Cricket Board. Both junior (Colts) and senior players compete in Middlesex leagues, including MCCL and MPCL, across weekdays and weekends. The club fields four senior teams on Saturdays and five on Sundays, and also participates in the ECB’s All Stars (ages 5–8) and Dynamos (ages 8–11) programmes.
Known for its warm and family-friendly atmosphere, the clubhouse opens every Friday evening, offering members a chance to socialise and enjoy facilities such as darts, pool, cards, music, and food—alongside a drink or two. Join us and become part of a welcoming and vibrant community.
