    Ronnie is a very cheeky and talented batsman who’s game has really progressed in recent years. He is a very popular member of the club on and off the field.

    As a batsman, Ronnie is an excellent middle order batsman. He is technically sound but his real strength at the wicket is his ability to be unorthodox. He is a wristy batsman who plays shots all around the wicket and is especially good against spin bowlers. He also offers an excellent option at the top of the order in Twenty20 cricket, taking advantage of the early overs. 

    In the last 3 seasons his batting has come on leaps and bounds. In 2012 and 2014 he scored well over 300 runs. His 2013 season was his best in his career scoring 602 runs at an average of 43 with five half centuries. In 2012, Ron scored his second hundred for the club and his first League hundred with a brilliant 109 not out against South Hampstead batting at 7.

    He is also a much improved fielder who is good all round the field, whether at slip or in the outfield. He took 4 catches (3 at slip) in a game in 2011 and rightly picked up the fielder of the year award.

    After being forced to keep wicket at university 3 seasons ago he has excelled. With Adil Parker, hanging up the gloves he now offers a realistic option behind the stumps for Phil Bush's second eleven.
