    Dildo is one of the busiest members of the Borough on Saturday’s during the season as he combines his role Second Eleven vice-captain abd Opening Batsman. He has been the leading batsman for the second eleven in the last 5 seasons and is Bushy’s chief Lieutenant on the field.

    As a batsman, Dildo has evolved from a big hitting middle to lower order dasher to a cultured and correct opening batsman. He has retained his elegance but he has become much more patient at building an innings and has scored consistently in recent seasons. He also has the ability to improvise with his big hitting and his delicate cuts and flicks and even some reverse sweeps.

    He has been very consistent in recent years passing 400 runs in each of the last three seasons.

    Adil has spent the majority of his career as a wicket-keeper but he gave up the gloves in 2014 to concentrate on his batting. In his pomp he was a exceptional wicket-keeper who took some brilliant catches over the years and is exceptional standing up to the spinners.

    In 2012 he had an exceptional season with both bat and gloves. He was the fourth highest run scorer with 535 runs at an average of 23.26 with a highest score of 80. With the gloves he claimed 30 victims with an incredible tally of 19 victims.
