Role: Right Arm Fast Medium Bowler
Nickname: Chav, JayDog
Barbarians No: 69
Jaydog is a swing bowler who bowls with great control and often does an excellent holding job without always getting the wickets that he deserves. He is also a brilliant Twenty20 bowler who is exceptional at bowling at the end of innings.
2011 was his break out season, when he finally emerged from his brother’s shadow and put in some exceptional performances with the ball. He lead the Second Eleven attack on Saturday’s and the First Eleven on Sundays and rightly won the Most Improved Player for the club in 2011.
In 2012, JayDog's performances carried on where he had left off in the previous season picking up 26 wickets at an average of 19.54. The highlight was a 5 wicket haul against South Hampstead 2nds in August. He continued to impress in 2013 picking up 24 wickets at an average of 28.
Chav is a very underrated batsman who very often has to bat at the business end and he does hit a long ball and he is also an excellent fielder. He scored an excellent 50 on tour at Lydney in 2012 which helped set up a close win.
He is a great character off the field due to his comedy and camp dress sense. He is also an excellent cameraman who takes some great photos which appear on this site.
