One of the club's senior professional, Nitin is still putting in top class performances well into his 50s. A top class allrounder in his day, Nitin is now mainly used by the club is a holding spin bowler who can be asked to bowl 20 to 25 overs in a day.

In the last 3 seasons Nitin has picked up 100 wickets and was rightly crowned bowler of the year in both 2014 and 2015. Last season he picked up 57 wickets for our First and Second Eleven's which was the most by any bowler at the club.

Nitin was a member of our first junior section in the early 1970s before moving away from the area. In his pomp he played a very high level of club cricket all over the country including a spell playing for the Derbyshire Second Eleven.

Since returning to the club in the early noughties, Nitin has been club captain and also worked as chairman in recent seasons.
