    After 2 seasons away from League Cricket for the club. Shezza is returned to the Borough in 2014 and helped the club to promotion back to the Middlesex Cricket League. A former club captain, Shezza has been Chilli's deputy since the start of the 2015 season.

    Shez is an excellent top order batsman who is equally comfortable opening the batting or coming in at first drop. He is a fine player of pace bowling and scores his runs elegantly all round the ground.

    His greatest strength with the bat could be argued is his pacing of an innings. In 2011 he scored an excellent 102 at Uxbridge in a losing cause but he showed all his character and technique to get to a hundred and keep the Borough in the hunt.

    He is a canny off break bowler who tends to bowl with good variation and is especially good in Twenty20 cricket when the ball is going around the park at the other end.

    Shez left the club at the end of the 2011 season to play Premier League cricket in Hertfordshire with North Mymms but returned in 2014. He joined the club aged 11 and he was the captain of our successful U13 side that won the National Championships in 2001. He also played a very high level of University cricket while studying at Loughborough.
