    Danny has been club captain and leading batsman in recent years. He is a linchpin for our first eleven, leading the way at the top of the order. He is a classy batsman who never looks hurried and he is strong all around the wicket. He has scored several League hundreds for the club with his best score being 158.

    He has had exceptional seasons in 2012 and 2013 leading from the front with the bat. In 2013 he passed 1000 runs for the first time scoring 1,099 runs with three 100s and six 50s. 

    His father Tim was a regular in our second eleven in the 1980s and 1990s and Danny made his debut for the club in colts cricket in 1997. He was a member of our U13 National Champion side in 2001 which was skippered by Sherrick Chavda.
