SAINS APPOINTED CLUB PRESIDENT

Bessborough Legend Graham Sainsbury was elected as the club’s new President on a 1-year term at the club’s AGM at the end of March. Sains replaces Viv Feltham who sadly passed away on Christmas Day last year.
Sains is a club legend who scored over 25,000 runs for the club in his playing career. He also operated in many roles off the field including Chairman, Colts Chairman, Groundsman to name but three. Even after moving to the midlands in recent years he still has been a regular supporter of the club, captaining the Legends side in our Centenary season in 2008.
It is hoped that Sains as well as raising the profile of the club, will bring a President’s XI to play the club over the August Bank Holiday.
