Presidents XI Fixture Confirmed

PRESIDENT'S GAME CONFIRMED

Bessboroughcc.com can confirm that a game between the club and a President XI has been confirmed for Sunday June 30th starting at 11.30am. Club President Graham Sainsbury is bringing a team back to the club which he joined 50 years ago this year.
 
Sains who also celebrates his 60th birthday will bring a team of Borough legends back to take on the best of the current side. One player who is rumoured to be in the Presidents XI side is former Bessborough junior and England batsman Mark Ramprakash. With Ramps’ recent appointment of Middlesex batting coach it is not known if he is still available for Sains.
 
During an incredible period for the club, Sains scored over 40,000 runs for the club and served on the committee in every position from groundsman for chairman. Hopefully the weather will be good and provide us with a brilliant day both on and off the ground.
