Under 10s v Harrow St Mary's
Sunday, June 1

The strong Harrow St Mary's team was beaten by under 10s at Old Millhillians last weekend. HSM won toss and decided to bat first. Our excellent bowling attack managed to restrict Harrow St Mary's to 56-4 off their 16 overs.  Romesh De Silva particularly impressed picking up 2-9 off 2 his overs,

Needing a net score of 57 runs to win our first pair, Varun Theebaraj and Abenesh Baskarangot off to a f antastic start with Varun scoring 18 runs which was the highest score. Our Under 10s batted well but need 18 runs to win when the final pair of Thilakshan Thayalan and Karvith Ramesh came to the crease for their final 4 overs of batting.

The pair batted very sensibly and calmly to score 21 runs without losing any wickets. The highlight of the match was in the 16th and final over. With the scores level, the first 4 balls of the over were all dots and required a brilliant match winning boundary from Thilakshan off the penultimate ball to give us victory.

Under 11s v Lohana
Monday, June 3

Our Under 11s claimed an excellent victory at Lohana last Monday. With our Under 11s batting first we managed to score 68-9 off our 15 overs on a damp wicket on a slow outfield. We produced an excellent performance in the field with our bowlers bowling great lines and were backed up by some excellent fielding. We restricted Lohana for 38-9 off their 15 overs. Our star bowlers were Rayan Raval picking up 3-6, Arjun Rai 2-4, S.Bhojani 3-2 and Varun Theebaraj 1-3.

Under 15s (A) v Harrow St Mary's
Thursday, June 5

The Under 15 (A) side had a fantastic home win over Harrow St Mary at Headstone Manor on Thursday night sneeking home in a close encouter by 5 runs.

We won the toss and elected to bat and put up a very competitive 107-4 in our 15 overs. Hatim Kanghwala scored 40 not out in only 30 balls and he received excellent support from Hersh Punjani and Sameer Agrewaal.

In return, Harrow St Mary's started well, but we managed to put the pressure on their batsman with tight bowling and fielding. With 7 runs needed to win going into the final over, Sujan Sivakumar was asked to win the game for our boys with the ball. He bowled a brilliant last over picking up 2 wickets and more importantly conceded just 2 goals. Sujan's colleagues Steffan Fernando, Hatim Kanghwala, Ajan Sivakumar and Vidoosha Jayawardena all provided excellent support with the ball and wicket-keeper Ray Maloney had a fine day with gloves picking up 3 stumpings.

Under 15s (B) v Pinner

Our Under 15 (B) side also had an excellent win on Thursday evening with 89 run win at Pinner. Jamie Young and Chirag Davda also chipped in with handy knocks of 26 and 21 respectively.

Pinner were never in the hunt and managed to score just 72-5 in their 20 overs. All of our bowlers excelled but Thivian Mathanaruban was the standout performer picking up 3-5 in his 3 overs.
