COLTS REPORTS - WEEK BEGINNING JUNE 15

Bessborough U11 vs Harrow U11 – (MCA North Area League Division 2)

Bessborough batted first on a slow wicket, Snehan Das and Arjun Rai both scored 19 runs each to help their team to post a challenging score of 100 runs for 5 wickets in 15 overs. In reply, Harrow lost their first two batsmen clean bowled by Sohan Bhojani for duck. Bessborough boys bowled and fielded really well and restricted Harrow to 61 allout in 13.1 Overs. Eight of Harrow batsmen are bowled and two were runout by the direct throw from Thilakshan Thayalan. Pick of the Bessborough bowlers are:  Arjun Rai 3-0-10-4, S.Bhojani 2-0-9-2

Bessborough U11 beat Harrow U11 by 39 runs on Monday 16th June 2014


Bessborough U13A vs Harrow U13A – (MCA North Area League Division 2)

Bessborough batted first and scored 116 for 3 wickets in 20 overs with skipper Jamie Young scored a brilliant half century (51 notout). Bessborough restricted Harrow for 109 allout.

Bessborough U13B vs Harrow U13B – (MCA North Area League Division 5)

Bessborough U13B batted first and scored 92 for 9 wickets in 20 overs with Arjun Rai top scored with 22. In reply, Harrow U13B managed to score 77 for 7 wickets in 20 Overs. Pick of the Bessborough bowlers are: Oliver McAlister 3-1-10-2, Arjun Rai 3-0-6-2.

Bessborough U13A beat Harrow U13A by 15 runs on Tuesday 17th June 2014

Bessborough U15A vs Old Merchant Taylors (OMT) U15A-  MCA North Area League Division 1 

OMT couldn’t field a team and forfeit the match. Bessborough U15A won.

Bessborough U15B  vs Northwood U15 (MCA North Area League Division 5) 

Bessborough U15B scored 98 runs for 7 wickets in 20 overs. Northwood U15 scored 90 for 9 in 20 overs.

Bessborough U15B won by 8 runs on Thursday 19th June 2014

U17 MCA Chairmans CUP

Bessborough U17 vs Harrow St.Marys U17 – Quarter Finals – Friday 20th June

Harrow St.Marys won the toss and asks Bessborough to bat. Bessborough openers Shandeepan Ratnakumaran and Ray Maloney (U15) batted steadily and put on 51 partnership after 10 overs. They shared a partnership of 82 before Ray got out for a fine 46 in the 13th over. Saahil Vora joined Shandeepan and they batted superbly middling the ball well and took the score to challenging 194 for 1 wicket after 20 overs and their partnership is 112 in 7.3 overs.

Shandeepan ended up scoring a brilliant 91 not out which include 6 sixes and faced 53 balls. Saahil scored an attacking 43 not out in 20 balls.

In reply, Harrow St.Marys started well, but struggled to keep up with the high run rate and ended up scoring 138 for 5 wickets in 20 overs. All the Bessborough bowlers done their task well and they were supported by their fielders with some good ground fielding and excellent catches.
Bessborough U17 team will now play Eastcote in the Area Semi-Finals next week.

Bessborough U17 team beat the strong Harrow St.Marys U17 team by 56 runs.
