WHERE ARE THEY NOW - PART 2

Following on from our update on Borough legend Graeme West who is currently on tour with the West Indies ‘A’ Side in Sri Lanka we have some more news about another Borough legend who is making waves in the cricket world.

Former Borough wicket-keeper-batsman and occasional swing bowler Alex ‘Masemundo’ Mason is continuing to revolutionise Sky Sports excellent cricket coverage. Mase who is now a leading producer at Sky Sports and his next project is producing coverage of South Africa’s tour of New Zealand which begins with the First One Day International on Monday October 20th. In recent seasons, Mase has produced numerous live county games, the successful ‘Saturday Story series’ including my personal favourite on former England captain and broadcaster Tony Greig. In 2015, Mase will be one of the main producers of Sky Sports inaugural coverage of the Indian Premier League.

Like Westy, Mase has not played at the Borough for over the decade but all members who remember him are proud of what he has achieved.
