GET WELL SOON NORM

Club legend Norman Whalley is currently recovering after suffering a stroke recently. Norman who is truly a club legend is currently recovering in hospital and is thankfully out of danger. Unfortunately though his wife Jan thinks it maybe a while before he will be well enough to come down and visit us at the club.

The word legend is thrown around far too much but it is totally appropriate to describe Norman. He served the club with distinction both on and off the field and he is one of the funniest men that I have played cricket with.

Everybody at the club would like to wish Norman and full and speedy recovery and we all hope to seem him down the club soon.
