MCCL LEAGUE FIXTURES 2016
By James Wheeler

The Middlesex County Cricket League (MCCL) released their fixtures for the 2016 season over the weekend and thus our first and second teams found out who they will be playing next summer.

Our first eleven begin on May 7th with a home game against neighbours Harrow Town at Headstone Manor. The following week we make the trip to the North of the county to face North London in Highgate. The Fixture computer has been kind early on the our first eleven as we have three of our first four games at home as we also face Osterley (May 21) and Brentham (May 28) at Headstone Manor. While this kind early on, this means than in July we have only one home game and four games away from Headstone Manor. The Saturday League season concludes on September 3rd with a home game against Uxbridge who were relegated from MCCL Division 2 last summer.

In contrast, the second team start the season with three of the first four games away. The season starts with a trip down the road to Ickenham's postage stamp ground at Oak Avenue on May 7. We then have a home game against Southgate (May 14) before away games against Osterley (May 21) and local neighbours Harrow (May 28). Due to the first team only having one home game in July, our second team have four home games that month against Harrow St. Mary's, Ickenham, Osterley and Harrow. Their season concludes with a trip down Headstone Lane to face Harrow St. Mary's on September 3rd.

The fixtures for our third and fourth teams are normally released in late November/early December and the fixtures will be published immediately on Bessboroughcc.com
