GREAT START FOR THE BOROUGH

So far Bessborough CC have had a great start to the season with a comfortable win over Pinner CC due to some excellent performances from Adil Parker and Ian Barrie with the bat and Gary Linton with the ball.

The game against Old Actonians gave us a great opportunity to have a look at some of our new recruits.  With Bessborough CC scoring 205, Thinesh scored a valuable 50 with some incredible hitting to put us in a great position at tea.  Unfortunately, during the hottest week in April EVER... the heavens opened and the game was called off, proving once again that GOD HATES CRICKET!

On Sunday we were fortunate to get the game against Paddington played, however we still came away with a great win thanks to the help of Andy Carr who scored a well deserved 50.

Lets hope these are signs for the rest of the season with the Borough 'so far' coming away from 3 full games with 3 wins.
