WICKET-KEEPERS & NEW MEMBERS WANTED

Bessborough Cricket club is currently on the look out for new members on and off the field for the 2014 season.

All playing members of all abilities are welcome, Whether you are looking for serious and competitive cricket or are looking for some friendly social games at a great club, Bessborough Cricket Club is the place for you. We currently get have four League sides out on a Saturday and one League side on Sunday.

In particular the club is looking to recruit a couple of wicket-keepers to compete for places in our Saturday First and Second Eleven sides. If you are interested please contact first eleven captain Rohan Karkhanis and second eleven captain Phil Bush

We run indoor training at Harrow High School (Entrance via Gayton Road) on Thursday nights at 9-10pm  should you wish to come down and introduce yourself and shake off any winter rust

We also have a midweek twenty20 side which competes in two knockout competitions as well as playing friendlies with local sides. Non playing members are also more than welcome with the club always on the look out for umpires and scorers

The club has an active social season during the summer and the club also busy during the winter. The club has a darts team which plays in the Cricketers’ Darts League. We also have several football teams (junior and senior) which are affiliated to the club.
