By James Wheeler
Bessboroughcc.com has now got a full list of all league and competitive senior fixtures for the 2015 season.
Our first game of the season is our traditional pre-season friendly against Pinner on Saturday April 15th. The first competitive game of the season sees us take on Hertfordshire heavyweights Harpenden in the first round of the Royal London Club Championship Knockout on Sunday April 26th at our Headstone Manor ground.
Rohan Karkhanis’ ‘Invincibles’ begin their first campaign back in the Middlesex Cricket League since 2011 with a home game North London at our Headstone Manor ground on May 9th. Phil Bush’s Second Eleven also face North London but need to make the 13 mile journey across North London to their Montenotte Road Ground.
New Third team skipper Ian Ridley begins his quest for promotion back to the first division of the Middlesex 1987 Cricket League with a home game against Osterley while the Fourth Eleven returning captaincy duo of Simon Heaney and Richard Ward begin the season with a short trip to Vale Farm to face Wembley 5s.
The Sunday Chess Valley side which is once again captained by Alex Irani start their campaign with a home game against Stevenage at Headstone Manor on June 7.
The Barbarians fixtures will be announced in the next month or so as well as a few additional early season friendlies. We also intend to announce a special game for the August Bank Holiday so please keep across the website.
