Legends Day II

LEGENDS DAY II

It is just over 2 weeks to go until Bessborough Legends Day II which is being held on Bank Holiday Weekend on Sunday August 30th. It is the first event of this kind since our centenary year in 2008 and although we have held similar events this is the first time we will have a wide range of legends from different eras who once again take to the field.

Once more Legends Day will consist of two games beginning at 11am with a game made up of 60 overs before the day finishes with a high intensity Twenty20 match. After the game, there will be a Hog Roast which comes highly recommended by a few members who have feasted on a roast provided by the same caterers in the past. The cost per person for the Hog Roast is yet to be finalised.

Current members that would like to be considered for selection must make themselves available through the website, while anybody who wants to play for the legends must contact Andy Carr, Peter Doole or myself.
